Draft, last updated October 2026. This is a plain-language summary and should be reviewed before launch.
Photo Luego is built so that your work photos stay yours. This page explains what we collect and what we do with it.
On the free plan
- Your photos, jobs and reports are saved only on your device, in your browser's storage. They are never sent to our servers.
- If you clear your browser data or lose your phone, they cannot be recovered by us. Send yourself your PDF reports.
- This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits, which pages are viewed and which countries and devices visitors use. It does not use cookies or track you across sites, and we do not combine it with anything that identifies you.
- The app counts anonymous events, such as "a report was made", to see whether it is useful. These do not include photos, names, locations or anything that identifies you.
If you sign in (Pro)
- Account: we keep your email address and sign-in identifier, supplied by Google when you sign in, and your plan status.
- Photos and jobs: we store resized copies of your photos, plus job names, client names you type, captions and the details needed to rebuild your reports. They are kept in private storage and are only available to your account.
- Photo details: we keep the capture time and, if your device recorded it, the location and camera direction, so your photos can line up the same way on every device. Location only appears in a report if you turn on the map option.
- Report maps: if you turn on the map option, the app draws a map of where your photos were taken using public map data from OpenStreetMap, served by OpenFreeMap. The map servers can see the rough area being requested, not your photos. The finished map is part of the report, so anyone with the report can see those locations.
- Shared report links: if you create one, anyone who has the link can see that report and its photos until you turn the link off or it expires. Links are unguessable and are not listed in search engines.
- Deleting: deleting a photo or job removes it from your account storage. Deleting your account (email us) removes everything we hold about you.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data or your photos.
- We do not use your photos to train AI models or for advertising.
- We do not look at your photos, except where needed to keep the service running or to follow the law.
Services we use
Sign-in is provided by Google (Firebase Authentication). The app and storage run on Cloudflare. If you join the early-access list, we keep your email address to tell you when Pro opens.
Your photos of other people's property
You are responsible for having the right to photograph the places and things you capture, and for sharing reports only with people who should see them.
